Third World Friends accepts donations Monday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
School Supplies Needed For Nicaragua & Uzbekistan
Please note all school supplies for Uzbekistan must be new. We cannot ship used school items to this country.
Backpacks, Solar Calculators, Blank Index Cards, Water Color Sets, File Folders, Crayons, Paper Clips, Pens & Pencils, Colored Pencils, Scissors, Chalk & Erasers, Colored Markers, Small Pencil Sharpeners, Erasers, Glue Sticks, and Bottles of Glue.
Sporting Goods – Baseballs, Bats & Gloves, Basketballs & Soccer Balls.
Items to exclude: Books in English, Three-Ring Binders, & Footballs.
ACCEPTED DONATIONS
Clothing & shoes for children, women and men – for all seasons. Jewelry, Glassware, Dishes, Silverware, Knives, Pots & Pans. Tools: Mechanical & Carpentry, Non-electrical Hand Tools. Also Nails. Linens, Curtains & Pillows. Small Appliances – such as microwaves, toaster ovens, blenders. Soft-sided Luggage. Novels, Bibles, Cookbooks, Children’s Books. Decorative and Holiday Items (small). Medium and Small Size Toys & Stuffed Animals. Games & Puzzles. Furniture – small tables, dinette tables, chairs, bookcases, small desks, small cabinets.
GUIDELINES FOR DROPPING OFF DONATIONS
When bringing items to the store, we ask that all donations be clean and in good condition. Items that need repair or are in poor condition cannot be used by the store nor shipped. We ask that clothing be delivered in bags and household items in boxes.

Due to recalls and expiration dates no baby equipment can be accepted; safety equipment such as helmets & life jackets; furniture (see items we accept for exceptions) & household items such as televisions, large couches, mattresses, wrought iron fixtures; Computers and printers; exercise equipment; Christmas trees and stands; large hanging lamps, table & floor lamps; food; cosmetics; household chemicals; curtain rods & roller shades; wall hung pictures; textbooks; magazines; encyclopedias; Reader’s Digest; also stained or moldy books.
